In the smoke the Latakia - even though being 75% percent of the blend - really smooth and silky. At which point, even I had to admit that this was as intense flavor-wise as anything I had ever smoked. Arrrr -- shiver me timbers -- Pirate Kake is the second blend Ive smoked in as many days that has bewitched me into thinking there were Virginias mixed into it (apparently, based on a couple of other reviews, I wasnt the only one to be so fooled).
